This filter adapter is in BGN condition with some signs of noticeable wear.
There is a foam padding where the gel filter would sit that is dried out and cracking and there are also a few small sections of foam missing.
This holder is for the gel type filter and NOT FOR A 52mm SCREW IN FILTER. This goes into a Nikon telephoto lens that uses a rear 52mm filter. I
don't have a definitive list but many Ai-S lenses and AF-S lenses in the 400mm, 500mm, 600mm range use this adapter. I have attached a photo of a lens with this adapter for reference.

picture quality.
