John Lennon Silent Tribute Original Type 1 Photo New York City Central Park 12/14/1980Original, vintage 1980 TYPE I photo from the silent tribute for John Lennon at Central Park in New York City, held on December 14, 1980. After John Lennon's death, Yoko Ono requested a worldwide silent tribute, and this photo shows a crowd of people paying tribute to Lennon in Central Park. A group of people are holding up signs that combined says" We Still Love John". Another is wearing a shirt that says "Lennon Lives On".
The photo has a UPI paper tag attached to the back, dated 12-14-80. There is a United Press International stamp on the back of the photo. The photo and paper tag are in beautiful condition, with two tiny creases on the bottom right corner! This is a rarely seen photo from the tribute to John Lennon in the city that possibly was grieving the most. 3.75 shipping in the USA.
