FACADES - a counted needlepoint design by Susan Portra. An interesting arrangement of overlapping rectangles that are filled with a variety of stitches.
In effect it is a sampler, a small project that can be completed quickly.  The colors could be changed according to your personal preference.  And while the original uses black canvas, that could also be changed.
A number of finishing options are available - a framed picture, a tray or box insert, the flap of a purse, perhaps decorating a custom cover for a small computer.
